Ms. Kiran Khatri is a career diplomat of the Indian Foreign Service, batch of 2012. She began her career with training at the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt (2014–2016), where she also completed advanced German studies at the Goethe-Institut, attaining C1 proficiency.

From 2016 to 2019, she served at the High Commission of India in London, managing political and economic portfolios. Upon returning to headquarters, she joined the East and Southern Africa Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. During this period, she contributed significantly to the Ministry’s COVID-19 response, including coordination of large-scale repatriation operations under the Vande Bharat Mission. From 2020 to 2022, she was the Desk Officer for Myanmar. In her previous posting, she served as Counsellor at the High Commission of India in Malé, where she led India’s development partnership programme in the Maldives and managed bilateral trade relations. she joined as the first Consul General of India in Belfast in June 2026. 

A gold medalist in Economics from the University of Delhi, Ms. Khatri maintains an active lifestyle with interests in swimming and long distance running. She is married to Jayash Dubey and they have a daughter.
