Har Ghar Tiranga and Vande Mataram - Celebrating a Flag, a Song and a Nation in Belfast.

August 15, 2026

As part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, a special #HarGharTiranga And Vande Matram exhibition was displayed at the Consulate General of India in Belfast, celebrating the journey, history and spirit of our National Flag and our National Song.

The exhibition was received with great enthusiasm by the Indian community in Northern Ireland, with visitors engaging with the displays and reflecting on the values of unity, pride and patriotism embodied by the Tiranga.

The Tricolour is more than our national flag—it is a powerful symbol of our shared identity, our achievements and our aspirations for the future.
And Vande Mataram is more than our national song—it is a soulful tribute to the motherland, echoing the courage, sacrifice and unity that shaped India's
freedom.
